Existing Situation:

Present condition of main road passing through the town is very poor,dusty, broken surfaces, pot holes, are causing inconvenience to commuters / public. Moreover, the present situation is cause of traffic hindrance and environmental pollution which is ultimately affecting the health of the people.

Description of Sub Project:

The sub project comprises of 5 roads namely Model Town Link Road, Abdullah Bin Masood Road, WAPDA Road , Club Road and Girls College Road.Storm water drains will be provided along all the roads.

Sub Project Benefits:

The completion of the project will result in the following benefits:

•   Good road surfaces will be available to the public, which will improve the environment of the town.

•   The commercial activities and business in the town will be improved as people feel ease in reaching bazaars which are connected to these streets.

•   Public mental tension, frustration will be minimized.
